How To Deal With Haters And Toxic People

Here's the number one way to stop a hater or negativity in its tracks so that you can create everything that you want in life. This is Jake Ducey with JakeDucey.com, and I'll give you one phrase that will stop the haters, the negativity, the fear, and the doubt in its tracks.

So let's say, you know, you come home and your mom or your dad or your brother or your sister, your romantic relationship or your friend or your teacher or whatever, and you're like,

I'm so excited. I got this idea. Here's what I want to do. I'm going to do this and this. I just watched this awesome video that got me so inspired."

And they say...

Yeah, we'll come to real life." Yeah, I mean, it's really hard. It's really hard to be so successful. You know, you're probably not, it's probably not going to work out for you. I'm just being real with you, you know, I love you. I love you. This is about love right now."

When they say that to you, here's what you say...

Thank you. But that's not part of my belief system. Yeah, I appreciate it. I understand where you're coming from, but that's not part of my belief system."

Comment that down below. "Thank you, but that's not part of my belief system." Share that with somebody you know, struggling with negativity.

You're the one that gets to decide what goes into your mind. The mind is much like a garbage can. You get to decide what goes into it.

The mind is much like a cup. You can put water in it, high alkaline water in it, that nourishes your body, or you could spit in it.

You could put sewage water in it, and that's what most people are doing. They're allowing other people's sewage, other people's crap, other people's shit, other people's garbage into their drinking water, into their mind, into their palace and it's filling their mind.

head in garbage

But the thing is, you have something called free will. You get to decide what ideas you entertain in your mind. If I said "Hey, you suck. You're an idiot. You're never going to be successful." "You can say, that's bullshit. I don't believe that. I'm not letting that into my mind." Or you can say "You're right", "You might be right" "Are you right?" or "I don't want to lose you as a friend." You get to decide what you put in your mind, and I know it's scary, but Nelson Mandela said, "Courage isn't the absence of fear."

It's when you're scared as shit. When you're doubting yourself, when you're worried, if you're good enough, when you're worried, if you're smart enough, when you're worried, if you cut some people off, if you're going to actually make new friends, what happens if they don't like you anymore? Because you keep pursuing your dream.

What happens if you keep getting opposition? Its when you say,

You know what, Bro? You know what my friend. You know what mom, you know what, dad. I really appreciate it. I know that you want to help me, but that's not part of my belief system. I'm trying to create an extraordinary life. I look around and I see so many people struggling to create an order to an extraordinary life and I don't want an ordinary life, so not part of my belief system. Thank you."

This conversation is done with all respect. I don't want to keep communicating about this. I've got a plan that I'm putting in place. I'm working hard at my dream. I'm working hard on my business. I'm working hard on my art and this is what I want to create that's not part of my belief system."

Then they could decide if they want to keep filling your mind with crap, or you can walk away. You said "Thank you. I appreciate it. I love you, but that's not part of my belief system."

I get to decide what I put in my hand and I'm going to brainwash myself before the world brainwashes me with crap, with negativity. Thank you, but that's not part of my belief system."

So, put a smile on your face and say...

Thank you so much. I know you love me. I know you're trying to help, but that's not part of my belief system. I need to create my life. I need to walk my own path. Thank you but that's not part of my belief system. I believe in miracles. I'm realistic."
