Are you wondering why your soulmate hasn't shown up yet and it keeps going the wrong way? I never really thought I'd make this video on how to find your soulmate, but I'm sitting here with my soulmate and now my fiance, and we wanted to share a video with you about the ways that we attracted each other into our lives and break it down into a few simple steps that you can use in order to find your soulmate.

Notice when you've got your blinders on. People get in these really toxic relationships because desire is stronger than reality.When we really desire something, like soul mate for instance, we can have total blinders on reality for something not being the right fit. So stop settling. Stop going out to look for the people in the wrong places. My invitation to you is the same one that I know was really life changing for me: deciding that I wasn't going to settle anymore in my life, that I was okay being me by myself, and if I didn't attract the amazing relationship, the amazing soulmate, I was okay with that.

When I got away from that needy energy and that settling energy, it created the space for something magical, something awesome. Something that was really in alignment with where I was coming from because where I was coming from when I was like, "I don't need it. It's okay. I feel complete with who I am and I'm not going to settle again. I'm not going to to to do that to myself and I'm happy and I will find a way and I will create happiness on my own." I'm coming from a space of wholeness and when I'm coming from a space of wholeness, I attract another whole. It's about two people coming from wholeness and being in that space of fullness and you hear that all the time is like people say like, you know, I really wanted a soulmate, but I gave up seeking and I gave up like settling for things that weren't right, and then it happened.  

Don't settle.

When I get out of that scarcity and I step into true, unconditional love for myself, the result is I find someone that matches that energy.

Live your purpose.

A lot of times we get so focused on wanting our soulmate, wanting that ideal relationship, that we lose touch with our purpose. And then somebody will say,
"well, how are you going to go out there and find that soul mate or how are you going to get in romantic relationships when you're not even putting yourself out there?"

When you're really living on purpose, when you're really walking your true path in life, then they're going to come at the perfect time. For me it was, I got a call from my book agent. He said, hey, it's my birthday tomorrow. There's a little birthday party with 15 or 20 or so people, one of the people there has a really pretty daughter and I want you to meet her. And it was a four and a half hour drive. And he's like, "just come." I said, "it's a long drive." Again, he says, "just come." So I went. As soon as I walked into the door, I was sitting down on the couch and then she came in and my agent literally pushed us together face to face and was like, "you're the only young people here, meet each other."

That's how we met. It was out of nowhere. But most beautiful things in life often happen without us consciously grinding them out and going out and setting up 40 or 50 different dates.

The question is, "what's your vision for your life?" What's your purpose? What's your vision? What are you trying to create in life?

When you align with your true self in that way, when you align with your spirit in that way, with your soul, rather, you attract your soul mate because you're living from your soul. You're living life on your own terms.

You attract beautiful people, places and things in your life. 

Write it down. That's what I did. At least, uh, just uh, it was after I told you relationship failed and um, or fail. They're actually created awesome things because the heartbreak created the space for me to reflect on my life and bring more. 11. And after that happened, I asked myself, "what do I really want?"

I put it down on paper, I didn't write like five foot nine. I like  diameter of this way, this size. I didn't do stuff like that. I wanted an artist. I wanted to be with an artist, with a creative type of person, with an explorer, with an adventurer. I was getting into the essence of their soul. Essence of who they were.

I put it out on paper. I didn't look at it every day. I just kind of wrote it out on my journal and that's what I invite you to do. Get into the essence of the type of person and the way they show up in the world that you want to attract into your life.
